YOUR MISSION

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to join our team and lead our operations to the next level. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, operations management, and team leadership, with a keen eye for driving operational efficiency and achieving business objectives.


THE JOURNEY

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to increase order volume, optimize delivery times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  2. Team Management: Lead and mentor the Full Shopper, Special Ops, and Real-Time teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Oversee real-time operations to ensure optimal delivery services, adherence to delivery slots and minimize rescheduling and cancellations. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  4. Process Optimization: Identify and address bottlenecks in the picking and delivery processes, working closely with 3PL partners to ensure seamless operations.
  5. Freelancer Reliability: Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of the entire operational chain.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to align operations with company goals and customer expectations.
  7. Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and measure success against key performance indicators
  8. Compliance: Be in charge of a full-length labor compliance strategy.
  9. Financial acumen: Have a cost-conscious mindset and the ability to project and read the P&L.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3+ years of previous relevant experience in logistics, operations, retail, project management, business development with at least 1+ of them managing fast-paced teams.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in logistics, delivery services, or a similar field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers and freelance workforces.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
  • Customer-oriented with a strong operational drive and hands-on attitude.
  • Proactive project management skills with a focus on what moves the needle.
  • Ownership, Organization and Reliability.
  • Excellent communication & written skills in Portuguese and English.
